Project Scope
The Friends of Harriman State Park had designed and planned their project but needed support in the fabrication of interpretive signs and bronze plaques. Their project included a custom mounting system to utilize historic bridge piers as an interpretive station and celebration of the multi-year effort to replace the historic bridge.
Project Objectives
- Using existing panel designs, fabricate an interpretive panel that will hold up to intense winters and summer sun exposure.
- Using existing design cues, create a bronze plaque to honor bridge donors and supporters.
- Create a custom mounting solution to use the historic bridge pier as the interpretive centerpiece while also considering winter snow load.
- Provide original artwork to use for project promotion and fundraising.
