Project Scope
Signs created for the C. Ben White Memorial Fishing Access Site were designed to share the natural history and river ecology with visitors. As an active river floodplain and a tremendously biodiverse habitat, this FAS showcases how a relatively small property can have a big impact on specific species as well as the larger landscape.
Project Goals
- Visitors will understand the role of a river floodplain in providing wildlife habitat
- Visitors will understand that diversity of vegetation creates habitat for a variety of wildlife
- Visitors will learn the value of land connectivity for wildlife
